It's a lake. Not really anywhere to actually get close and be able to take in the entire view which is a shame. A very big lake though. Worth the drive out there

I grew up near here. Can be very windy but some more shelter tree's are doing a great job. Nice place in good weather. Lake has short chop so can be dangerous in wind. Conditions can change very quickly. Fun to play and explore. Good Experience for horses to go somewhere different, camping. Often see motorbikes here.

The lake is very picturesque. However I would not swim in it; water is way too muddy in my opinion. Could be good with a canoe or kayak instead.
